Transportation
The Half Moon Bay Coastside communities are strung together along Highway 1, which stretches north and south between San Francisco and Santa Cruz. Highways 92 and 84 are the only east-west access to the Peninsula. Most residents rely on their own means of transportation.

Commute times may vary according to weather and traffic conditions. Peak hours over Highway 92 begin at 6:30am to 8:30am east bound, and 4:00pm to 7:00pm west bound Monday through Friday.
