HALF MOON BAY, CA (July 31, 2006) – The Half Moon
Bay Coastside Chamber of Commerce & Visitors’
Bureau—in conjunction with The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, Half Moon
Bay Golf Links, La Crema/Stonestreet Winery, J. Lohr Winery and Main
Street Goldworks—held their 5th annual Classics by the Sea car show
event yesterday, Sunday, July 30, 2006 at the Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon
Bay on Half Moon Bay Golf Links. Other sponsors include: Alifano
Technologies, BFI/Allied Waste, Club Sportiva, La Di Da Café, Safeway
and Starbuck’s Coffee.

Entertainment with a special appearance by Half Moon Bay “Sit Down”
Band, strolling along the picturesque view of over 100 classic cars, it
truly exemplified this year's theme, “A Celebration of Food, Wine, and
Wheels!"
This year's grand raffle prize winner, J. Kent Garman of Half Moon Bay –
who increased his chances of winning by purchasing 6 tickets and it paid
off, having received a $2500 shopping spree, courtesy of sponsor Main
Street Goldworks! Other winners were: Kathleen Jones of Boulder Creek
($1500) and Nicole Boothman of Half Moon Bay, ($1000), also shopping
sprees, courtesy of Main Street Goldworks.
The funds generated from this event will benefit the Chamber and Back to
Basics, Coastside Adult Day Health Center and Senior Coastsider
programs. |
