Package Tour Suggestions

 

Day 1

7am-12pm: Fishing

12:30pm: Lunch with a local farm family and pick your own vegetables & flowers

4pm: Learn to make your own cheese while your dinner, that you caught and picked today, is prepared.

Day 2

12pm: Have lunch at an old famous road house and enjoy their world famous artichoke and green chili soup. Tour their private gardens where much of their produce is grown.

2pm: Travel up Highway 84 to SkyLonda. Then travel 4.5 miles south on Skyline Boulevard (Hwy 35) to Thomas Fogarty Winery which overlooks Stanford University and the entire south bay. Enjoy wine tasting superb Coastal wine.

3pm: Travel north on Highway 35 through redwoods hundreds of years old. West on Highway 92 to La Nebbia Winery for more wine tasting from this award winning vineyard (allow 45 minutes driving time).

4pm: Continue east on Highway 92 less than one mile to Yerba Buena Nursery for a tour of Northern California’s premiere native plant nurseries.

6pm: Complete the evening by dining at one of the many fine Main Street or coastal restaurants.

Day 3

9am: Hike the Pescadero Marsh Bird Refuge and enjoy the more than 250 species of birds that make this their habitat.

12pm: Lunch at a restaurant of your choice.

1pm: Visit Ano Nuevo State Reserve

Day 4

8am: Start the morning with hiking Montara Mountain atop Devil’s Slide for spectacular views of the Northern California Half Moon Bay area Coast.

11am: Book a kayaking trip at the harbor.

1pm: Visit one of the fabulous restaurants in the harbor.

3p: Stroll out to see where the famous Mavericks Surf Competition takes place and visit the Pillar Point Marsh along the way. Check out the Sustainable Fishing Interpretive signage along the harbor on your way out.
