2008 Tour Package Options

The Half Moon Bay Coastside is eager to show off our glorious flowers and plants once again at our annual nursery tour. Saturday, July 12 will mark the Seventeenth Annual Tour des Fleurs. A very special vegetable and flower garden, calla lilies, violas, oceans of roses, organic field greens, California native plants surrounded by streams and waterfalls, a working dairy farm, acres of succulent berries, a small tranquil winery, and an abundance of potted plants of every variety await you on this year’s Tour des Fleurs.

Most of these commercial growers are not ordinarily open to the public, and those who will share a few “behind the scenes” secrets of their operations. Some will also share their colorful and fascinating family history and how it shaped their businesses.

Each tour package takes you to three different nurseries. You drive yourself to each nursery in your package, and you enjoy a one hour guided tour. There are six different tour packages to choose from, and each tour package of three nurseries costs $20.00. A whole day of floriculture for just $20.00!

Make a weekend of it! There are over 25
lodging facilities on the Coast and a wonderful variety of restaurants. Tour Half Moon Bay and the Coast, stroll our beaches, hike our trails, shop our Main Street . . . we're an unspoiled place that would love to spoil you!
